Due to a recent surge in demand, Plantations International is seeking to expand its International export department for its agricultural products.

Job Description:

As a Agricultural Export Manager for Plantations International you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing export operations for our agricultural products. Your primary focus will be on expanding our market reach globally and establishing strong relationships with international clients and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve export sales targets and revenue goals.
  2. Identify and target new markets and customers for agricultural exports, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, negotiating contracts, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  4. Coordinate export logistics, including shipping arrangements, customs clearance, and documentation compliance.
  5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and marketing, to ensure efficient and effective export operations.
  7. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in sales and export management, preferably in the agricultural industry.
  3. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics processes.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  5. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  6. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
  7. Must speak fluent English and preferably other languages.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
