The torrential rains and violent winds, damaged the remaining banana plants in Burhanpur district, on Sunday. The farmers who cultivate bananas within Burhanpur district were hit with major losses due to heavy rains and floods ruined their farms. The crop was destroyed by floods in Ratagarh, Ambara, Dawalikhurd, Devri Mal and other regions that fall under Nepanagar region, Nimbola in Burhanpur as well as Shekhapur in the Khaknar region.

In the Dawalikhurd the Dawalikhurd region, a local farmer Shobharam Jadhav sustained a massive losses, while over 10 farmers from Ambada, Dawalikala, Higna, Linga and Deori Malwere were directly affected.
